TAFL is a non-profit league open to all ages 5-13. Our program offers each community up to 4 divisions. Those divisions are defined as Jr. Freshman, Freshman, JV and Varsity. For each of our participating communities. TAFL is a proud member of USA Football and the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU)
The purpose of the TAFL organization shall be to provide and promote, through properly qualified guidance and supervision, a clean and wholesome youth football & cheerleading programs in the greater thumb area of Michigan. Our aim is not to compete with the local school districts, but to compliment them. It is the intent of this league to teach basic skills of football and cheerleading. We teach proper conduct and sportsmanship to positively affect the development of our children.
It is the vision and goal of TAFL to grow and organize a league that gives an opportunity to all kids to participate in football and cheer. Games will be played on a number of different fields at each participating communities. Potentially, teams will be split into regions with the various regional winners playing in an ultimate league championship.
